The cycle paths of Trentino

Accessible from Andalo by bike or car

The cycle path of the Val di Sole develops almost entirely along the route of the sparkling Noce River, for 35 km, from Mostizzolo to Fucine and from here to Cogolo di Peio following the route of ancient connecting roads or embankment roads and countryside.
The route is not demanding and covers a total altitude difference of 565 meters.
You can choose various routes and use the Dolomiti Express train and the Bici Bus, specially equipped for the transport of bikes, to integrate the routes or climb comfortably from the valley bottom.

The Valle dei Laghi cycling path, also called Torbole-Trento, starts from the shores of Lake Garda, near the mouth of the river Sarca (km 0,000), where the tracks from Riva del Garda and Mori meet : the well-marked path, runs on the bank of the river in orographic right.
Going north in the direction of Arco, you avoid the intersection with the busy state road SS240, thanks to the recent bypass in the bed of the river Sarca, which allows safely the transit of cyclists under the road bridge, without ever leaving the cycle path (km 0,460). The bypass is forbidden to the public only on the floods of the Sarca, when the waters of the river invade the center cycling pedestrian making it condemned.
For more than 5 km, follow the bends of the river to Arco. Cross on a normal road and then resume the route of the bicycle pedestrian at the road bridge over the Sarca (km 6,670). From here the track goes up again the river Sarca prr about 500 meters then take on the right the pedestrian walkway at the campsite, which goes on the opposite bank near the urban park; continue the embankment. After about 4 km you will overcome the narrowing at the side of the state 45bis, thanks to the metal shelf made overhanging on the river, which allows safely to reach Ceniga.
Municipal road from Ceniga to Dro, towards the northern outskirts where you take the protected cycle-pedestrian road of about 850ml, up to the junction with the municipal road that leads to the former hydroelectric plant of Fies (km 13,300).
Then Pietramurata, Sarche, Vezzano and Terlago.

The Valsugana. Route mostly on an asphalt cycle path, which runs along the Brenta river. Possibility to travel it from both sides, with prior reservation you can take advantage of the train + bike service.
From Borgo Valsugana follow the signs for the bike path. Starting from Bassano, take the Dx Brenta from the outskirt’s n/ o of the city. Up to beyond Valstagna the route is shared with cars on a road that is still secondary and quiet, which crosses the small inland villages, in Valstagna you climb towards the plateau the “CalĂ  del Sasso”, an ancient path on a path of 4,444 steps.
From Cornale the path becomes a complete cycle path, a walkway on the river to be walked for the less experienced.
At Tezze Valsugana, once arrived at a roundabout, continue to the right for the new section of the cycle path. Then Marcesina on the plateau of ASIAGO (accessible ONLY UPHILL because of the high exposure) or Borgo Valsugana.
After Borgo between apple trees and vineyards until Levico Terme and then Caldonazzo after over 60 km.
